                         amaz{\^o}nico. O objetivo do presente trabalho foi analisar a 
                         din{\^a}mica do uso e cobertura da terra do munic{\'{\i}}pio de 
                         Mucaja{\'{\i}} (Roraima), no per{\'{\i}}odo de 2004 a 2014, 
                         com dados do TERRACLASS. Os resultados indicaram que a classe 
                         pastagem {\'e} predominante em todos os levantamentos, seguida da 
                         classe vegeta{\c{c}}{\~a}o secund{\'a}ria. Constatou-se que a 
                         maior parte das pastagens (60%) foram mantidas nos dez anos de 
                         observa{\c{c}}{\~a}o (2004-2014), ao passo que as {\'a}reas de 
                         vegeta{\c{c}}{\~a}o secund{\'a}ria, apenas pequena parte {\'e} 
                         mantida (23%). Observou-se que ocorre forte convers{\~a}o 
                         florestal, tanto para formar as pastagens (28% das {\'a}reas de 
                         pastagens), como para se transformar em capoeiras (35% das 
                         {\'a}reas de vegeta{\c{c}}{\~a}o secund{\'a}ria). ABSTRACT: 
                         The possibility of using TERRACLASS data for studies of distinct 
                         Amazonian subregions opens up a range of opportunities for 
                         knowledge of different dynamics in the occupation of the Amazonian 
                         territory. The objective of this work was to analyze the land use 
                         and land cover dynamics of the municipality of Mucaja{\'{\i}} 
                         (Roraima), from 2004 to 2014, with data from TERRACLASS. The 
                         results indicated that the pasture class is predominant in all 
                         surveys, followed by the secondary vegetation class. It was found 
                         that most pastures (60%) were maintained during the 10 years of 
                         observation (2004-2014), while the areas of secondary vegetation, 
                         only a small part is maintained (23%). It was observed that there 
                         is a strong forest conversion, both to form pastures (28% of 
                         pasture areas) and to turn into capoeiras (35% of secondary 
                         vegetation areas).",
